Coffee Filter Garland

I found this craft the other day, It cost $1 and took less than 30 min. I took about 4 feet of yarn, and threaded 6 coffee filters, every 6 inches. Scrunch the coffee filters before threading them. It looks so cute for a birthday party, strung over a mirror, window, or a photo. It's so cheap and easy. You can also tea stain them or dye them a different color.

Hey that is cool! I really love your lamp too. I'm pretty sure I'm a mod podge addict. But what I really love is that killer picture of your kids, I assume you took it?

Um...that is super cute but some people don't have the talent to "scrunch" them perfectly let alone have any idea how to scrunch them. Can you show one close up? Love your blog...Looks like we'll meet right around March 21? Maybe sooner if I end up bringing my kids up there for Jenny to watch while my husband and I go on vacation- she may come here, we're not sure.

I had seen someone else do that coffee filter garland and I love it. Did you use the standard large filters? And if so do you use them as is?
Oh and I found your blog through melody ross's :)
